Introduction
Students of Women’s College, who are fascinated by the defence service and want to join NCC (National Cadet Corps) to contribute in nation building are allowed to take up NCC as an elective subject from the year 2022. NCC as an elective subject aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens. As of now, Women’s College is offering 25 seats for NCC as elective subject.
Objectives
1. Develop character, camaraderie, discipline, sportsman spirit and ideals of
selfless service.
2. To inculcate defence services work ethos that is characterized by hard work,
sincerity of purpose, honesty, dignity of labour etc.
3. To provide conducive environment to motivate young women to choose the Armed
Forces as a career.
