Department of Hindi

Introduction

The Department of Hindi of Women's College was established in the year 1974, since its beginning has been trying to impart teaching with a communicative approach. The Department has four regular faculty members. The teachers of this department are effectively trying to develop the language skills of the students.

Teaching Hindi is a challenging job particularly when there is a variety of Hindi in the different channels of TV and Radio. It is the aim of department to make it the best language department among the colleges of Tripura University. A glorious future is the dream for this which promise to work on with commitment.

The plan would be in good tune with the declared vision 2020 of general government planning commission which dreams to built up a brighter India by the year 2020. The Department want to educate the students through the Hindi language and its glorious literature to be able to grow as good and responsible citizen of our country.
