Department of Human Physiology

Introduction

The Department of Human Physiology (HP) started its mission in this college in 1984 as the Department of Physiology teachingPhysiologyCourse at the undergraduate level under the program of B.Sc. (General). Physiology Honours Course under the program of B.Sc. (Honours), however, was introduced in 1998. The Course on Human Physiology provides knowledge on how human body works to maintain bodily homeostasis, giving reference to chemistry and physics of all levels of hierarchy from elements, molecules, cells, tissues and organs to organ systems. The aim of the Department is to try constantly to achieve excellence in biomedical education and research that lead to well-being and welfare of human.
